Background
After partition of the country in the year 1947, Late Sh. Sardari Lal Goel alongwith his family shifted from Sialkot (Pakistan) to Batala. An idea of entering into the Engineering Industry had all the times been striking in the brain of Sh. Sardari Lal Goel, who finally decided to establish a Manufacturing Unit at Batala, popularly known for producing all kinds of Machine Tools Without waiting anymore to fulfil his desire. Sh. Sardari Lal Goel established M/s. Goel Iron Foundry in the year 1949. This concern initially started the manufacturing of Machine Tools viz., Lathe, Planing, Shaping and other Workshop Machines and within a few years it was acclaimed the “BEST” by the proud users of GOEL Machines. The various technologies adopted for bringing up the standard of Workshop Machines resulted in bringing name and fame to GOEL products. After expiry of Sh. Sardari Lal Goel in the year 1982, his elder son Sh. Satish Goel followed the footprints of his father. The concern became the choice of many leading Industrial Houses in the country with the hard work and efforts put in by Sh. Satish Goel. It was like a bolt from blue for Goel Family, which had to lose the guidance of Sh. Satish Goel after his death in the year 1994. The activities in the line remain disturbed for quite some time thereafter, but like his grand-father and father, Mr. Rajesh Goel decided to separate himself from Goel Group and started M/s. Micro Metal Machines, Batala. Although the concern can not be called as Manufacturing Unit, the main idea to establish it is to serve the Engineering Industry on mass scale with the same spirit. Many leading Industrial Units and individual users are our patrons. Every care is taken to meet the demands of buyers, as and when they need really Quality Workshop Machines.
